Capacity Assessment through IMPACT

Inspiring Management, Program Accountability and Trust (IMPACT) is a facilitated capacity assessment process designed to uncover the organization’s true ability to deliver on its mission and maximize impact.  It encourages discovery and identification of opportunities for improvement; assesses the organization’s capabilities to develop internal improvement (capacity building) plans; identifies the organization’s strengths that can be leveraged; and identifies needs to be addressed.

Based on research and feedback, the process includes self-assessment, facilitation, synthesis/interpretation of results, and then revisiting of the progress made.  IMPACT was developed by The Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation and made available to the Beyster Institute through the San Diego Foundation.
