Current Programs
The Institute manages international projects designed to advance entrepreneurship as both an educational discipline and a tool for economic development.
Middle East & North Africa
We are currently providing U.S.-based advanced business training and networking services to senior executives and managers from 17 countries and territories, with a strong emphasis on women entrepreneurs, on behalf of the U.S. Department of State.
In 2007 programs have included training in San Diego for the information, communications and technology business sector, Mini-MBA courses presented for entrepreneurs at Al Akawayn University in Casablanca, Morocco and a Resource Mobilization Training Program for Civil Society Organizations in Alexandria, Egypt.
The Institute is also managing the development of the MENA Businesswomen’s Network for the U.S. Department of State Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI).
Russia
The Institute is currently managing a six-year project funded by the US-Russia Investment Fund to accelerate entrepreneurship in Russia by providing a wide range of training programs on entrepreneurship for companies with high growth potential.
