Visiting Entrepreneur Program

Drawing on our extensive international network of entrepreneurs, the Beyster Institute conducts visiting entrepreneur programs designed to increase trade opportunities and enhance company growth through structured learning, networking and observation. These programs are typically part of an overall effort to boost an area's economic prospects by exposing the growing businesses that can create jobs to successful businesses in the same industry. One-on-one matches can be made with entrepreneurs in the U.S. as well as other countries or markets.

These programs are designed to achieve several important goals:

  • To generate practical and immediate business expansion opportunities for entrepreneurs and their companies
  • To build and expand personal relationships among entrepreneurs within a shared industry sector as a foundation for future business opportunities and trade
  • To provide a peer-to-peer learning experience by matching entrepreneurs with their counterparts in other locations to exchange ideas and business practices that shape a growing company
  • To improve the cultural understanding between firms doing business internationally

The Beyster Institute has developed a proprietary methodology that includes a rigorous and meticulous process that delivers concrete business results. For example, one program which matched Russian entrepreneurs with U. S. businesspeople resulted in a signed joint venture, a technical knowledge transfer and other sales agreements.
