Industry Specific

The Beyster Institute develops training programs directed to entrepreneurs, managers and executives in specific industries. By focusing on a single industry, such as technology, tourism or business services, participants receive a concentrated learning experience.  Peer interactions are based on common knowledge and shared issues, networking is especially productive and alliances and partnerships are more readily formed.

Past Beyster Institute programs have included the information, communications and technology sector (ICT) and the business services sector.  Specific courses, networking events and site visits related directly to the needs of these sectors were incorporated into the programs – for example, a class on “Innovation in Product Development” was developed for the ICT sector.
