A Center for Entrepreneurship is an in-country catalyst organization that advances the role and scope of entrepreneurship in society. In developing economies, it is a vehicle for building a culture and an environment that is friendly to the establishment and growth of entrepreneurial companies.
Beyster Institute Centers for Entrepreneurship offer any or all of the following programs and services:
- Entrepreneurship learning modules, such as Effective Delegation, Listening to Your Business, Guerilla Marketing, and others, taught by entrepreneurs in a peer-learning environment.
- CEO and entrepreneur roundtables, a confidential environment for sharing practical experience and advice.
- Visiting Entrepreneurs Program, where entrepreneurs are hand-picked and matched based on potential business synergy. Concrete results include joint ventures, sales agreements, networking, and knowledge transfer.
- Venture networking and partnering efforts, offering targeted introductions for investment ready firms.
- Policy forums advocating for critical business policy change at the ministerial level.
- Business plan competitions and other activities showcasing successful entrepreneurs, such as Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year program.
- Local media and partnerships with key organizations.
The Beyster Institute established and manages the U.S. Russia Center for Entrepreneurship. This center is engaged in a variety of services to assist growth entrepreneurs as well as promote a culture of entrepreneurship in the country.
The Beyster Institute is the lead consultant the Center for Entrepreneurial Excellence in Bahrain (CEEB) that opened in November 2005. .
